    Perfect spot for a tour

This place was a great base for touring on our motorbike! Rooms were basic but clean, and the pub downstairs had awesome food and drinks. We felt like locals after a few nights! Only awkward thing was the lack of blinds, making the room kinda dark at times.

    vegetarian dishes
    fresh seafood
    friendly staff
    noisy bar
    cold room

The Havelock delivered a peachy experience for my taste buds! Their vegetarian dishes were a delight, and I was blown away by the fresh seafood. Plus, the pub downstairs had scrumptious food and a lively atmosphere that made my evenings so enjoyable! I was chuffed with the friendly staff who made me feel right at home.

The bar was a bit too raucous for my liking, making it hard to catch some z's, and the room was frigid despite the heating not kicking in on time.

I appreciated the charming decorative touches throughout The Havelock, especially the spacious and clean room that was easily accessible. The welcoming atmosphere created a comfortable environment, perfect for enjoying the lovely views over the Moray Firth.

More hot water availability would be helpful.

    ramshackle parking

    breakfast location confusion

A spacious double room with a comfortable bed made for a great night's sleep. The bathroom was equally impressive, featuring both a bath and a powerful shower. Breakfast offered a generous portion with excellent black pudding, although a full Scottish breakfast could have included haggis and potato scone. Friendly staff enhanced the experience, while the location near the beachfront was ideal for leisurely walks.

    room decor

The location of the Havelock is fantastic, just a short walk to the beach. The spacious twin room had a comfortable layout. I loved the pub downstairs. the food exceeded my expectations each evening. The staff here are genuinely friendly and quick to resolve any issues I faced. Breakfast was good, offering generous options. the noise from the pub during the nights made it hard to get a good rest. the room could use some updating. the decor felt a bit outdated. Despite the noise, my overall experience was enjoyable, especially with the friendly vibe and great food.
